HOW IT WORKS
Pattern Making
The shape of a casting is determined by the mould cavity, and the pattern is what suggests the specification of this shape will fulfil the ultimate purpose of the product.
However, pattern-making isn’t as simple as the definition suggests. In addition to shaping the mould cavity, a pattern must provide accurate dimensions, have means of exiting the mould cavity without breaking it, compensate for solidification shrinkage and distortion, and include a feeding system of gates and risers to deliver liquid metal into the mould. The pattern-maker must account for the mould type and casting metal characteristics.
For efficient and cost-effective castings, high-quality foundry pattern making is of vital importance. By using professional software and exacting them with our CNC machines, we ensure accuracy & repeatability of tooling. We are able to supply the most suitable and economic patterns based on your drawings, sample components or a sketches, or a combination of all three.
